A HAND.

Sorry about the dark splotch in the corner there - Something happended weird to it when I was trying to post it. Anyways, I dont really know what to say about this sketch. It's a hand but the truth is I really love this sketch and it took longer than you would think :) I did this sketch with just a regular pencil in my journal and I did quite a bit of smudging for this sketch because I didnt want to shade with visable lines. I was sketching my own hand because I cant draw from memory but I think I did a pretty good job!

EYE LESS MAN.

This is a sketch that I did of a man in a National Geographic Magazine. I dont know why I chose this man to sketch but soemthing about him and the mysteriusness of him made me draw him. I draw best when I havent drawn in a while and if I have a lot of emotion in me. I also can not just sketch anything or else it will not turn out and so if something connects with me the finsihed product usually turns out pretty good. Anyways, I was going through my magazine and I saw this man. I started to sketch him mostly just because I wanted to see if I could actually do it.  Anyways I got through the sketch pretty fast and then I started to try the eyes which I could not get right! So, I put down my sketchbook and concluded that I woudl just try again the next day. Well, I have tried a dozen times to sketch this mans eyes and every time something about them is off and so now I have come to the decision that this man is not meant to have eyes and that its okay to leave him as the eye less man. Looking at the sketch now I am actually pleased that I left the eyes out because to me, It just adds to the mysteriousness of it.

MY ART; SKETCHES, PAINTINGS, EPIC FAILS.

This is a page with pictures from my sketching journal. I am posting my best and favorite ones that I have put alot of time and emotion into. I hope you like them!

This i a colored pencil drawing that I did for my 5 year old sister Stella. I had to add a filter to it though because the colors where to light to appear on the photo. This picture is for a story that I have been working on and that you can read in my writing section.  I took alot of time drawing this fairy and I was quite proud of it in the end. The idea of this drawing was to hae lots of green and lots of flowers and to make the picture as magical looking as possible. I will probably add more to it because to walls are bare but this is where the drawing is right now!

THE FAIRY OF YOUTH.

This is a sketch I did with an ink pen of the different plants in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. I drew Aloe Vera, Palm Trees, 2 different type of cactus's, and another unknown plant. These where just quick sketches but they turned out well all the same. I like drawing nature things and I really enjoyed this paticular sketch.

CABO DESERT SKETCHES.

Fear

I used a charcoal pencil on smooth paper for this sketch. I have drawn pictures that represent the most dominant of fear in our lives. I drew this picture for myself though and so you might not understand each component. I find that I often sketch for other people and as I draw I am worried abotu what others will think and if my drawing is good enough but for this one I just sketched and I didn't care if it made sense or if it was good or not. I have inccorporated the top fear components; Death, Things left behind, and forgetting. I love this sketch and it holds alot of emotion for me so I hope you like it, but I don't especially care if you don't. (No Offennse.)

Dancers Eye

Don't bother asking because I seriously don't know. I was just sketching with my charcoal pencil and I drew and eye and then I added legs to it. I like this drawing despite it's werdness though. I feel like you can see emotion in the eye and the shading on the legs seems realistic. Anyways, this is just an example of me sketching.

Haha! I found another leg wiht an eye!

Purely Coincidental.
